St. Ronnie – Part 1

At some point I will pontificate in more detail on Ronald Reagan, the patron saint of the Republican Party, but I cannot hold my thoughts on one thing any longer.

For years, everyone continues to deny Ronny had Alzheimer’s Disease while he was President despite overwhelming pointers indicating the contrary.  Hell, I saw examples of his problems in the mid-1980’s despite all of their attempts to hide it.

Then the “hearing aid”.  Give me a break.  More like “speaking aid”.  And any time you want to see how out of it check out YouTube to see him rambling on or Nancy feeding him answers.

But forget all of that!  I mean forget all of that!
Think of this and this only.

Alzheimer’s Disease is progressive and it does not happen overnight.  And a year after Ronald Reagan left office he testified in a deposition in 8 hours stated “I don’t recall” under oath.  Now here is the thing.  You apologists for Ronald Reagan, you call it, your choice:

Either:

He was a damned-ass liar

or

He had Alzheimer’s years earlier than admitted.

No other choice – your call – ball is in your court.
